Online training or even small group training isn’t for everyone. Some people enjoy the more personal nature of 1:1 Personal Training whilst for some, it’s a necessity due to injury, training confidence or the nature of their training that requires a more direct and in-close relationship. I am here to make sure that your training experience with me is a positive and respectful experience that allows you to gain confidence within yourself and the achievement of your health & fitness goals.

What happens when you start training with Coach Chris?

Before we start training, we have an initial consultation to chat about your goals and what you want to get out of training. We review your existing training history and discuss any injuries or things we should be aware of whilst training. Depending on your goals we’ll discuss current lifestyle habits and review if we need to look into making any changes.

Finally, before we move on to any structured training, we run through a Functional Movement Screen to pick up any movement dysfunction and establish a baseline of physical movement. Depending on the individual our consult might conclude here, or potentially include a small workout to finish off.

Moving on from the initial consultation I will design a training program & plan suitable to you to help you achieve the desired goals that we've discussed.

PT sessions with me range from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your training availability and desired goals. Our training sessions will include a variety of mobility and strength exercises that are suitable for you and designed to progress you in a healthy and sustainable manner.

All training is conducted in a fully equipped functional training gym where we’ll use a combination of kettlebells, barbells, free weights, bands, bodyweight and other training implements to help you get the most out of your PT sessions.

My coaching style is one that allows clients to train safely and within their limits whilst also providing encouragement, support and guidance that allows one to learn how to safely push themselves and expand their comfort zone.
